The Ghent Playhouse presents
Clever Little Lies
Join us at the Ghent Playhouse when we present Joe DiPietro’s Clever Little Lies, a contemporary adult play that sheds a comedic light on the serious and secret corners of marriage, relationships and family. This production runs January 19, 2018 through February 4.
A mother always knows when something is wrong, and this mother is determined to dig deep for the truth when her husband returns home, a bit on edge, from a tennis match with his son. Hell-bent on getting to the bottom of things; determined to get to the bottom of things, she invites her son and daughter-in-law for drinks and dessert, causing uproarious chaos.
Meg Dooley returns to the Ghent Playhouse stage as the mother, Alice. Rob Weber, who appeared in last year’s True West, plays her husband, and Erin Harwood, who was the sensitive princess in last season’s Once Upon a Mattress is the young daughter-in-law and new mother.
Clever Little Lies is directed by the Ghent Playhouse’s Artistic Director, Cathy Lee-Visscher, who also designed the set. Matt Sikora is Assistant Director and Stage Manager and lighting is by Max Lagonia.
Friday and Saturday performances are at 8 pm and Sunday matinees are at 2 pm. Tickets are $22 each, $17 for Members of the Playhouse and $10 for Students with ID. Tickets may be reserved by calling 1-800-838-3006 or going to the website at www.ghentplayhouse.org.
